Function / Content

This series consists of surveyor's level books which record the land levels at various locations. Included are Stuart Highway, Daly River Road and Alice Springs. The books record the following readings; back sight, intermediate, fore sight, rise fall, reduced levels, lengths, and remarks. Some of the books are annotated "indexed" during 1958/1959. These books were transferred by the Historical Society of the Northern Territory in 1994.
